Painting is only a small part of a decorating job, so you’ll often hear Jamie saying: “It’s all in the prep!”
Preparation is crucial to achieve a good finish. That’s why we spend so much time removing defects, filling holes and cracks, priming knots in woodwork so they don’t show through, and sanding to a smooth finish before we apply the first lick of paint.
Note that preparation can be dusty work, so we’ll protect your belongings with sheeting before we start.
There are no shortcuts on prep, but it’s so worthwhile and you’ll be amazed at the results.
