The process

This is the usual process so you know what to expect.

When you first get in touch:

  • We record the address of your property
  • We ask for a short description of the work you require
  • We agree a convenient time and date to view the premises
  • We discuss and agree the work to be done
  • We send you a typed estimate including:
    • Schedule of work
    • Materials to be used
    • Total cost of labour and materials

When you sign the estimate and pay 1/3 in advance:

  • We confirm the start date and time

When we arrive to start work :

  • We attend promptly with a clean and tidy image and explain our plans for the day
  • To protect your belongings, we move all movable furniture out of the way, and cover all non-movable furniture and floor coverings with sheeting
  • We remove all door and window fittings and store them safely until our work has been completed (alternatively, we can reinstate these fittings at the end of each working day if you prefer)
  • We keep the work area tidy and go throughout the day as discreetly as possible
  • We keep you updated throughout the work, explaining all our actions and answering any questions you may have

When the work is completed:

  • We are meticulous about quality control and eager to ensure you are completely satisfied
  • On the last day, we give you time to check everything and compile a ‘snagging list’ of any outstanding items
  • Jamie will personally work through the snagging list to do all remedial work required at no extra charge

When you are completely satisfied:

  • We send you the final invoice
